Our story
Falak Advisors was founded by finance professionals who spent over two decades working inside businesses — not advising from the outside. We’ve sat in the CFO chair, managed treasury through a crisis, built the models that closed funding rounds, and delivered the board packs that shaped strategy.
We started Falak because we kept seeing the same problem: ambitious, capable businesses hitting a ceiling because their finance function couldn’t keep up. The numbers weren’t telling the right story. Cash flow was reactive. Investors weren’t getting the confidence they needed.
We built Falak to fix that — to bring the kind of financial leadership that transforms a business from the inside, available to the companies that need it most.
Taher Khamusi, CPA
Founder & Managing Director
Taher founded Falak Advisors after more than 22 years leading finance functions across the UAE and India, spanning professional services, legal, retail, manufacturing, engineering and trading businesses. He spent over 15 years in international law firms and professional services organisations, holding senior finance roles at Hadef & Partners, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and Cedar White Bradley.
His work covers both strategy and delivery: cash flow, planning and reporting, ERP implementation (Elite 3E, Aderant, SAP), controls and multi-entity finance leadership. He has delivered AED 500,000+ in cost savings and led a stock count and audit of 20,000+ inventory items across multiple locations. Taher is a CPA (CPA Australia), holds a Diploma in LLM Taxation (VAT) from Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and is based in Abu Dhabi.

Senior Finance Manager
Huzefa brings more than nine years of finance and audit experience across the UAE, Kenya, and India, spanning professional and legal services, group holding structures, construction and property, trading, and retail businesses.
He leads tax compliance and audit for Fairdeal Properties and Group Companies, and has held senior finance roles with Hadef & Partners, ABC Group International, and Panis & Shah Associates DMCC, including statutory and internal audit leadership across multiple jurisdictions.
His experience spans both strategic and operational finance, from cash flow, trust accounting, and VAT/tax compliance through to IFRS reporting, risk assessment, and team leadership.
He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) based in Abu Dhabi.
